AKA - Old dog dizzy syndrome. There is a theory amongst canine rehab / physio practitioners regarding old dogs with sudden onset vestibular signs. The thought is that idiopathic geriatric vestibular disease in dogs is similar to benign paroxysmal positional vertigo in people. If they are the same, then perhaps treatment can be the same as well. This video demonstrates the manoeuvres that are used with people - and adapted to dogs for treatment.
