The Canine Fitness Centre is looking for a part-time therapist with a degree in physical therapy who loves dogs and has taken additional training in Canine Rehabilitation (or is willing to work towards this certification) to join our team. We are looking for someone with strong manual therapy skills, good problem solving talents, brilliant communication abilities, above-average deductive reasoning capabilities, flexibility (literally and figuratively), and experience owning or working with dogs. Rehabilitation Assistant
(Part-Time Position Available - 14 - 20 hrs / week)

The Canine Fitness Centre Ltd. is seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, committed candidate to work part-time (must work some Saturdays). Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and work well independently as well as in a team setting. Primary responsibilities include:
- Provide aquatic therapy (underwater treadmill and pool) independently (training provided)
- Maintain necessary records and accurate patient files and logs
- Assist staff in providing physical therapies (by direction of the physical therapists on staff)
- Maintain facility and surrounding grounds
- Reception duties: respond to calls, send appropriate forms/information to and from clients and/or referring veterinarians
- Ensure working operating protocols and procedures are followed, maintain and operate equipment as required
- Cultivate a climate of outstanding customer service, trust, empathy, and compassion for patients and their owenrs.
Preference will be given to candidates with the equivalent of one or more years of experience with small animals (dogs and cats). Remuneration includes competitive pay scale, vacation allowance, and on-site training.
Receptionist
(Part-Time Position Available - 14 - 20 hours / week)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients, callers, and animal health providers. Ensuring that each individual is greeted warmly and given appropriate information, directed to the correct person or helped to the best of your ability. Responsibilities will include answering phone calls, managing the front desk area, scheduling appointments, handling general administrative tasks, cleaning, and other general clinic duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring a positive first impression of The Canine Fitness Centre.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a polite and professional manner.
- Respond to inquiries via email, phone, or in person.
- Manage scheduling, including the coordinating of appointments.
- Checking out and processing payments for each client.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Provide general administrative support as needed, including filing, data entry, and office supply management.
- Process and distribute mail and packages.
- Assist with office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ensure visitors comply with company safety and security protocols.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications or certifications in office administration are a plus.
- Previous receptionist or customer service experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Must be effective in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls and visitors with a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in administrative tasks.

Work Schedule:
