Sandra Oxtoby, BKin, MScPT, Dipl. CanineRehab (c)
Sandra completed her Bachelors of Kinesiology with a major in Mind Science's from the University of Calgary in 2010. In 2015 she graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Sandra's human physiotherapy interests are focused on equestrian riders.
Sandra has been exposed to the world of animal rehabilitation from the time she was able to walk! From the age of 10, Sandra knew her true passion was in animal rehabilitation. In 1997 she watched Laurie Edge-Hughes treat her family's stallion after a hip injury, and the rest was history! She now owns Oxtoby Equine in NW Calgary where she rehabilitates horses, as well as competes internationally in the equestrian sport of dressage. She recently rescued two Kelpie/Heeler puppies named Fury and Rip that have high amounts of energy!
Sandra joined The Canine Fitness Centre Ltd. in the summer 2015 and cannot be more thrilled about the opportunity. She will be taking evening appointments - which we know our clients love!
