Susie Torrance, Grad. Dip. PT, Dipl. Canine Rehab (c)
Susie comes to The Canine Fitness Centre with many years of physiotherapy experience. She graduated as a physiotherapist from Aberdeen, Scotland in 1989, and choose to specialize in the field of human orthopaedics, both inpatient and outpatient. Susie also has a strong background in the neurosciences, and is currently still working within these specialities. She has undertaken many recognized post graduate training courses within these specialities and also holds a post graduate diploma in Maitland mobilization and manipulation from Sheffield Hallam University, England.
Susie has expanded her knowledge base to include that of canine rehabilitation and is working towards her diploma in canine rehabilitation through the Animal Rehab Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Susie emigrated to Canada from the UK in 2004 with her husband and (at that time) 2 young children. In her spare time she enjoys many outdoor activities, including hiking with her family and 2 dogs, skiing, biking and lots of summer camping.
Susie is thrilled to join the amazing team at The Canine Fitness Centre and to be able to rehabilitate our four legged friends!
